Starting in Berlin, we took adidas Runners worldwide. adidas Runners is the world's largest international running community, uniting people from diverse backgrounds across global cities. We developed the initial concept with a local running group in Berlin and then implemented a next-generation expansion strategy. We ensured the effective and sustainable growth of the global adidas Runners communities in the physical and digital worlds by demonstrating a strategic and genuine commitment to people, community, and culture. adidas Runners has evolved into a holistic and engaged brand-driven community that operates on all continents. Our global steering team guides, connects and empowers the local set-ups.

On top of developing the strategy for the adidas Runners global community, we manage digital engagement across social channels – this includes strategic ideation, digital journeys, content creation and narrative steering. We activate brand-related campaigns which actively involve community captains and members. We curate local and global events and craft strategic toolkits to unify runners, cultural movements and brand moments. The outcome is boundless: a strong sense of community and brand love. We continue to create real change in people’s lives every day through purpose-driven initiatives, education and real-world insights that enable runners to become better. This holistic community approach allows adidas to tap into new and exciting opportunities by better understanding and co-creating future brand impact.
